Board Report Home

Posted March 2nd, 2010

Well, if you haven't been here you ought to be.  The snow has been outstanding, and Mother Nature continues to bless us with continual small dumps of snow each week.  In fact, we have more on the way throughout the week.  Big Jim from MSSP told us the other day that our snow depth on top was 5th most reported in the U.S.!!!!!!!  Now that is awesome!

The conditions have been great all over the hill.  The park has all it's features up and runnning, including the halfpipe.  Pow poachers have been feasting on the Coyote and Douglas lifts.  Plenty of new snow has been found on the limits of the boundaries, and off the Douglas powder run.

Join us for upcoming events.  Next week, March 7-11 is the High School State races here at Mt. Shasta Ski Park.  On Tuesday, the 9th, enjoyed the Pizza Rail Jam in the downtown shopping center.  The Ski Park is trucking in snow for a huge throwdown.  Session rails and boxes....win big prizes...or just enjoy the happenings.  Session starts at 4 pm and is scheduled to end at 7 pm.  The next night, weather permitting, is the Watch and Wax night at the Sportsmen's Den.  Get you board waxed for only $10 and join us outside in the parking lot while we enjoy some great snowboarding videos projected on the side of our building.

The Mt. Shasta area has something to offer all the snow sports people out there.  Make some time, enjoy the snow, and join us in some turns!!!
